Sales Representative – Several Chicago Area Territories
The Label Printers has an outstanding opportunity for highly motivated, detail-oriented, enthusiastic professionals to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is results-and data-oriented with superior sales, customer service, problem-solving, multi-tasking and communication skills. Business-to-business sales experience is required. Labels, packaging or printing industry experience is preferred.
Sales professionals with five or more years of experience in the printing industry are preferred. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate in-depth understanding of sales process, and strategic planning, in addition to previous success in meeting financial objectives, territory management, cold calling, and account management. In addition to the above, the selected candidates will complete special assignments, provide feedback to management on market conditions and trends, and obtain knowledge about products and vendors by attending sales and product knowledge meetings. This role requires extensive, daily, in-person cold calling throughout the assigned geographic territory. Success in this role will require tenacity, resilience and determination.
Upon successful completion of orientation, the Sales Representative will be assigned a designated territory where they will support accounts, provide front-line contact with prospects and develop new business. This will include identifying, qualifying and developing leads, working on target accounts, conducting research and offering excellent customer service by telephone and in person.
